A man, Sunday Amaefula, has been arrested by men of the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly stabbing one Chibuike Nwanne to death with a broken bottle in the Mafoluku area of Oshodi.
PUNCH Metro gathered that Nwanne and his wife returned home from a party when an argument ensued between him and Amaefula’s brother, Ifeanyi Emmanuel.
The argument was said to have degenerated into a fight and in the process, Amaefula allegedly stabbed the 43-year-old to death.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, said in a statement on Tuesday that Nwanne was survived by his pregnant wife, adding that the suspect and the deceased were neighbours.
COLUMBIA- An anonymous donor recently gave a Columbia teen and his family a $500 donation upon hearing of his snow shoveling last week.
13-year-old Pablo Grimaldo and his father Serapio recently received the donation after helping out neighbors by shoveling snow off their driveways and sidewalks. The donor says the gift came with no strings attached, and the family can use it how they please. I was happy about it, Pablo said. We didn t know this was gonna happen. We wanted to buy a lawnmower. so we re gonna by a lawnmower with the money.
Serapio said he is also very surprised to receive the donation.

A Glen Eden homeowner has filed a fresh complaint to Auckland Council claiming his neighbour s chickens have gone feral and continue to cause a nightmare even though the property had been sold.
Chao Su, 82, first filed a complaint in February last year about his neighbour having more than 100 chickens - with some roosters taller than dogs - that were causing a nuisance on his property.
